The trade union SAC-Syndikalisterna organises undocumented workers.

By undocumented we mean all the workers who don’t have permanent work and/or residence permit. They could be refugees who are applying for asylum or refugees whose applications for asylum have been rejected. They could be seasonal workers from other countries. They could be workers who have come here on tourist visas.

There are tens of thousands of undocumented workers in Sweden today. Common to the undocumented is that they get extremely exploited by their employers. They have no job security and can therefore loose their jobs any second; they get very low wages; they have no right to healthcare; no right to schooling for their children; no right to sickness benefits.

SAC-Syndikalisterna organises undocumented workers because all workers have common interests – whether we have documents or not! National borders and stamps in the passports are not there to protect us. They are there to protect capital, nationally and internationally. If we let ourselves be divided according to national borders or the stamps in our passports we are going to loose. The working class has nothing to win by being divided. Therefore SAC-Syndikalisterna organises workers with, as well as without, documents.
